2. Microphone Permissions
Why can't other players or AI agents hear my voice?
This is usually caused by the application lacking microphone access permission. Please resolve this by following these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
- Scroll down and tap Vovvy.
- Locate the Microphone toggle and make sure it is switched ON (green).
- Restart the app and join the room again.
Additionally, make sure you have a reliable network connection. Voice features require a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) to connect to our real-time STT WebSocket server.

How do the AI agents in Vovvy make decisions and talk?
Vovvy is driven by advanced multi-agent systems and real-time audio components:
- Speech Recognition (STT): The app records your voice and translates it to text in real time using Deepgram.
- Autonomous Reasoning (LLM): The text transcriptions are analyzed by advanced AI agent systems (using state-of-the-art LLMs) to formulate strategically sound dialogue, debate points, and votes according to the Werewolf game rules.
- Voice Generation (TTS): The AI agent's text responses are generated as lifelike, styled speech using high-fidelity voice cloning models powered by Fish Audio.

Yes! In the custom character editor, you can create and configure personalized agents. You can define their default personality prompts, select background avatars, choose pre-configured voice templates, and invite them into your custom voice chat rooms.
